Industrial refining infrastructure

Domestic refining infrastructure for American light sweet crude.

Wolfram Chemical is developing a large-scale greenfield refinery in the Midland, Texas area. The facility is configured for Permian Basin crude — approximately 500,000 barrels per day, fuels-first, with the option for later petrochemical expansion.

Project

  • Greenfield refinery, ~500,000 barrels per day
  • American light sweet crude from the Permian Basin
  • Fuels-first slate: gasoline, jet, and diesel
  • Midland, Texas area siting and logistics
  • Parallel-train design for availability and constructability

Configuration is built around commercially proven process technology and a clear Phase 1 fuels scope, rather than a full crude-to-chemicals complex on day one.

Development

The project is currently at FEL-1. We are raising seed capital to build a small core team of experienced operators and technical support, harden the development package, and prepare for broader engagement with EPCs and project stakeholders.

Phase 1 is fuels-focused — RBOB, Jet A-1, and ULSD — with later petrochemical optionality retained on the same site, utilities, and operating base.
